For any request relating to the processing of personal data, the user can contact the Data Controller at the email address indicated above.
2. Personal data processed
The following categories of data may be processed through the site:
- navigation data and technical data necessary for the functioning of the site;
- identification and contact data provided by the user, such as name, surname, email, telephone, address and data entered in the forms;
- data relating to requests for information, assistance, quotes or commercial Contact;
- data necessary for the management of e-commerce orders, such as billing data, shipping, products purchased, amounts and order status;
- data necessary for the management of payments, also processed through external suppliers;
- data relating to subscription to the newsletter or other commercial communications, if requested by the user;
- data collected through cookies and similar tools, as indicated in the site's Cookie Policy.
The site does not normally require the provision of particular categories of personal data pursuant to art. 9 GDPR, such as health, political, religious or biometric data. The user is invited not to send such data via forms, emails or other contact channels.
3. Purposes and legal bases of the processing
Personal data is processed for the purposes indicated below.
Site navigation and security
Technical and navigation data are processed to allow the correct functioning of the site, guarantee system security, prevent abuse, fraud or unauthorized access and keep the service available.
Legal basis: legitimate interest of the Owner and technical necessity to provide the service requested by the user.
Requests for contact, information and assistance
The data provided via email, telephone, WhatsApp, contact forms or other channels are processed to respond to user requests, provide product information, manage assistance, quotes or pre-contractual communications.
Legal basis: execution of pre-contractual measures requested by the interested party and legitimate interest in the management of requests received.
Online sales, e-commerce orders and customer management
The data provided during the purchase phase is processed to receive and manage orders, arrange delivery, issue tax documents, manage payments, after-sales assistance, returns, guarantees and communications relating to the order.
Legal basis: execution of the contract, pre-contractual measures and legal obligations.
Administrative, fiscal and accounting obligations
The data is processed to fulfill applicable fiscal, accounting, administrative and regulatory obligations.

Newsletter and commercial communications
If the user subscribes to the newsletter or gives consent to receive promotional communications, the contact data is processed to send updates, offers, information on products, services, events or commercial initiatives of Season Generator.
Legal basis: consent of the interested party.
The user can revoke consent at any time by writing to info@seasongenerator.it or by using the unsubscribe link present in the communications received, if available.
Soft spam to customers
The Owner may send commercial communications relating to products or services similar to those already purchased by the user, using the email address provided at the time of the sale, unless the user objects.
Legal basis: legitimate interest of the Data Controller pursuant to art. 130, paragraph 4, Legislative Decree 196/2003.

Statistics and site improvement
To understand how the site is used and to improve it, we use two tools, which are also described in the Cookie Policy.
Matomo, installed on our own website: it counts visits in aggregate form, does not use cookies, truncates the IP address (the last two numbers are set to zero), does not combine the data with other sources and does not share it with third parties. For this reason it works even if you refuse cookies. Raw data is deleted after 180 days; only the totals remain.
Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited and loaded through Google Tag Manager only after you consent to the “Statistics” category in the banner: it uses cookies, assigns an identifier to the browser and may process data in the United States as well (see section 8). Without consent, Google Analytics is not activated and no data is sent to Google. Data stored by Google Analytics is deleted after 14 months.
Legal basis: legitimate interest for anonymous statistics without cookies (Matomo); consent for Google Analytics, which you can withdraw at any time using the “Cookie preferences” button at the bottom of the page.
Marketing, remarketing and profiling
To show our ads to people who have already visited the site, we may use Google Ads remarketing (Google Ireland Limited) and the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited). These tools are loaded through Google Tag Manager only after you consent to the “Marketing” category in the banner; without consent they are not activated and no data is sent to Google Ads or Meta. The up-to-date list of the tools actually in use is in the Cookie Policy.

4. Data retention period
Personal data are kept for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and, subsequently, for the period required by legal obligations or for the protection of the Data Controller's rights.
In particular:
- technical navigation data: for the time strictly necessary for the functioning and security of the site;
- requests for contact, information or quotes: up to 12 months from the request, unless there is a further commercial relationship or documented need;
- data relating to e-commerce orders: for the time necessary to manage the order, assistance and guarantees;
- fiscal, accounting and administrative data: 10 years or different term provided for by applicable legislation;
- newsletter and marketing data: until the interested party's consent or opposition is revoked;
- data relating to cookies: according to the times indicated in the Cookie Policy and in the consent management tools;
- Matomo statistics: raw data (with truncated IP address) for 180 days, then only aggregated totals with no reference to the individual visitor;
- Google Analytics: 14 months, according to the property settings;
- log of the choices made in the cookie banner: 24 months.
5. Treatment methods
Data processing takes place using IT and telematic tools and, where necessary, Manuals, adopting technical and organizational measures suitable to protect personal data from unauthorized access, loss, improper use, disclosure or unauthorized modification.
Access to the data is limited to the Data Controller, authorized parties and suppliers who process data on behalf of the Data Controller or as independent data controllers, within the limits necessary to carry out the entrusted activities.
6. Recipients of the data
Personal data may be communicated to subjects who support the Data Controller in managing the site, commercial activity and administrative obligations.
In particular, the data may be processed or communicated to:
- hosting, technical maintenance, security and site management providers;
- service providers WordPress, WooCommerce, plugins and tools connected to the site;
- providers of email, newsletter, messaging and communication services;
- PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., for payments by PayPal, cards and local payment methods (Bancontact, iDEAL, MyBank, Przelewy24 and others), and the Data Controller’s bank for bank transfers;
- couriers and subjects involved in shipping products;
- tax, accounting, legal and administrative consultants;
- Google Ireland Limited, for Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and, where active, Google Ads; Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, where the Meta Pixel is active; in both cases only after consent, except for the loading of the Google Tag Manager container described in section 7;
- OpenStreetMap Foundation, for the dealer map: the browser downloads the map tiles from the foundation’s servers, which receive the IP address and the technical data of the request;
- Intuit Inc. (Mailchimp), for the newsletter, if you subscribe;
- public authorities or legitimated subjects, when required by law.
These subjects can operate, depending on the case, as data controllers pursuant to art. 28 GDPR or as independent data controllers.
7. Cookies and similar tools
The site uses cookies and similar tools for technical, statistical and, if present, marketing purposes.
Technical cookies are necessary for the functioning of the site and do not require the user's consent. Analytics, marketing or profiling cookies are managed as indicated in the cookie banner and in the Cookie Policy.
The user can manage their preferences through the cookie banner on the site and, where available, through the consent management panel.
Before any choice is made, the site loads only the Google Tag Manager container, with all statistics and marketing tools set to “denied” (Consent Mode): requesting the container from Google’s servers involves transmitting the IP address, but no Google cookie is written and no browsing data is sent until you consent. Matomo, which does not use cookies, and the PayPal scripts on the cart and checkout pages (necessary to offer payment) do not depend on consent.
The banner and preference management are provided by the Complianz component, which stores your choice in the browser (cmplz_* and wp_consent_* cookies, duration 365 days) and also keeps it in a register held by the Data Controller: date and time, categories accepted or refused, cookie policy version, page, language and truncated IP address, without name, email or other identifiers. The register serves to demonstrate that consent was requested and collected correctly (Art. 7 GDPR) and is kept for 24 months.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” button at the bottom of the page. On withdrawal, the statistics and marketing cookies previously written are deleted from the browser.

8. Transfer of data outside the European Economic Area
Some suppliers used by the site may process personal data in countries located outside the European Economic Area.
In such cases, the transfer takes place in compliance with articles 44 and following of the GDPR, on the basis of adequacy decisions of the European Commission, standard contractual clauses, additional measures or other guarantees provided for by the applicable legislation.
For US suppliers, where applicable, the transfer may be based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, if the supplier is certified, or on standard contractual clauses and other guarantees provided by the GDPR.
Google LLC and Meta Platforms, Inc. are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; for other providers, the safeguards set out in their respective privacy notices apply.
9. Nature of the provision of data
The provision of technical navigation data is necessary to allow access and operation of the site.
The provision of the data requested for orders, payments, shipments, invoicing and assistance is necessary to conclude and execute the contract or fulfill legal obligations.
The provision of data for newsletters, marketing, profiling or non-essential services is optional. Failure to provide or withdraw consent does not prevent browsing or purchasing, but may prevent the receipt of promotional communications or personalized services.
10. Rights of the interested party
The user can exercise, within the limits established by applicable legislation, the rights provided for by articles 15 - 22 GDPR.
In particular, the user has the right to:
- request access to your personal data;
- request rectification of inaccurate data;
- request deletion of data;
- request the limitation of processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- revoke the consent given, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the revocation;
- request data portability, when applicable;
- lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
